Domenico Mario Assunto Dolce (born June 22, 1967) is an Italian fashion designer. He is known as Domenico Dolce or simply Domenico. Dolce studied at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and graduated in 1991. In 1994 he founded a company with fellow student Stefano Gsell called Dolce & Gsell, which became known for its provocative advertising campaigns such as one where the models were pictured, covered in chocolate syrup, strawberries and whipped cream.
